About me
Stacie Harris, Ed.D. has nearly 25 years of experience in K-12 public education, including over a decade of teaching high school English. She has been the director of the Greater Southern Tier Teacher Center since 2018. In June of 2023, Stacie was privileged to travel with 25 educator colleagues to explore the Finnish education system, spending time in Oulu, Lapland, and Helsinki. Stacie successfully defended her dissertation, "Becoming a Coconspirator: Balancing Antiracist Teaching with School-Wide Behavior Management Plans to Create and Nurture Black Joy," earning her Doctor of Education from Kent State University in May 2024.
