About me
Mary Lynn Bieron is currently serving as a the K-12 Social Studies Instructional Support Specialist for the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda school district. Mary Lynn is constantly pushing herself and encouraging those around her to shift social studies education from straight content to more inquiry...get passed the questioning that both Siri and Alexa can answer. To accomplish this, she provides job-embedded, professional development for teachers to assist them as they expand their repertoire of social studies practices and inquiry with their students. She delivers professional development on a district level for staff development days, as well as through the Kenmore Staff Development Center on research-based instructional strategies, social studies curriculum, instruction & assessment, and Google applications (as she is also a Google Certified Educator I & II). Mary Lynn is a member of NFCSS, NYSCSS, NCSS & ASCD.
